Britten is this year’s recipient of the
USHA Communication Ambassador Award. This award is given to someone
who has participated in Speech/Language/Hearing services over the
course of the year and has inspired others with their strength,

What a great honor this is for Britten to represent the profession that has helped him so much in his recovery. He had the opportunity to speak at their convention.

I could watch this over and over. Britten's recovery has been truly and indisputably miraculous! It is wonderful to be able to witness this. Thanks for sharing. Keep working hard, Britten! Dear Britten, Your story is amazing! I have also been following your journey during this year. I said many prayers for you and your family during the recovery. I cried and laughed along with your Mom when I would read the updates. Seeing you speak so eloquently and with so much compassion for others is absolutely amazing. I have the saying "Attitude is Everything" hanging in my home also, you are the greatest example of the kind of person we should follow to be happy in life! I have two missionaries serving at this time also so we missionary moms are a strong force for good in the world, especially when the power of prayer comes into play. You are a walking miracle and I would love to meet you someday. Take care and keep up the wonderful work.

ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I literally had to wipe the tears away as I watched it. I remember your mom telling us that story in the locker room. She's a great lady, and you're an amazing guy. Thanks for the reminder of what's really important! You and your family are great examples.
