We'll Bring The World His Truth

Sunday evening some of Britten's friends gathered together, as they were preparing a song to sing.
I had asked the Bishop if some of Britten's good friends could sing a special musical number, when Britten talked in Church.  I didn't even know if they could sing or carry a tune, but the Spirit prompted me to do so.
When I asked these young men if they would sing, they all enthusiasically said, YES!"
I was so thrilled!  A song came to my mind with such power and meaning,  "The Army of Helaman".

As they entered the chapel they greeted each other with hugs and handshakes.  Steven and I sat there and watched with tears filling our eyes, for it was such a wonderful sight.

Each Return Missionary stood tall and proud as they sang with the Spirit.  They looked and sounded like the Army of Helaman.  Goosebumps and chills overtook my entire being, as I listened to them sing.  They were Gods servants, who had served the Lord faithfully through out the world.

Each one of these young men have been born of goodly parents who loved the Lord.  They have been taught and they understand, That they must do as the Lord commands.
They have been saved for these latter days, to build the kingdom in rightous ways.  They hear the words our Prophet declares "Let each who's worthy go forth and share.

They know his plan, and they have prepared, increased their
knowledge through study and prayer.  Daily they taught with the Spirit of God and took the gospel to all the world.

They are as the Army of Helaman,  They have been taught in their youth,  And they have been The Lord's Missionary's, To Bring The World His Truth!

  1. We continue to be amazed at the great things happening for Britten, what would he have done without the family he has surrounding him. We are so proud of you all and are so anxious to be at the meeting to hear Britt and his friends.
Love you all so much. Grandma Schenk

  2. Dear Britten,

Thank you for your inspirational story and testimony. I pray for your continued recovery.

August 18th at 7:00PM there is a large fireside event that will be filmed at the Bountiful Regional Center. The speakers are 2 returned missionaries who will be sharing their miraculous story of being kidnapped while on their missions in Russia. If your schedule permits, would you consider being an honored guest at the fireside? I would like to invite you to sit on the stand and offer the invocation.

Please let me know if you are able to attend. I'm happy to give you more information. (Sorry for the random comment, I don't know how else to reach you.)

    Respectfully,

I'm praying for you all always, and hope nothing for the best for all of ya!! ---Richelle

  6. I just read your story in the Deseret News, although I had also been following this since the accident in March. If you haven't heard already, I would like to mention to you about a place in So. Jordan called Neuroworx. You can Google them and find out more about them. But they specialize in physical therapy for Spinal Cord and Brain injuries and do not have limitations for the number of visits allowed by insurance companies. They are a non-profit organization and therefore are allowed to provide assistance for those who need longer term therapy.

Our son had a spinal cord injury 2-weeks after receiving his mission call. We have been working with Neurworx for some time and they are wonderful. We continue to hope and pray for the same miracle that you have been blessed with. We feel grateful for you. Please feel free to e-mail if you need or want any additional information.

    Blessings to you,
