His Love
We are thankful to Our Heavenly Father for the countless blessings he has given our family! Especially the last 51 days. We have grown closer to Him and Our Savior Jesus Christ. We have felt the peace and comfort of The Holy Spirit constantly. We have also become closer as a family. When I say family, that also includes all of you, our extended family that have shown us so much love and support. I heard not too long ago that, "friends are family that you choose." That truly applies here. Thank you. Today was spent, it seems, getting ready for surgery tomorrow. As we have said many times before. Our trust and faith is in He who can do all things. We love Him! We are grateful for His example, teachings, gospel and plan, but mostly for his atonement and sacrifice for all mankind! Jesus Christ has given us everything. May you all feel his love! The Schenks

We are prayerful this morning as you prepare for surgery. What a tender mercy that this is occuring the day after fast sunday! I'm sure there were several who fasted yesterday with you in mind. It seems as though so many people are going through such difficult trials right now. Your words of faith and courage are so helpful to those who are seeking divine assistance and comfort. Thank you!

What wonderful examples of faith you and your family have been to so many during these last couple of months. Thank you so much for sharing you testimonies. As a missionary mom, my heart aches for you through this trial but also marvels at the miracles of a loving Heavenly Father and at your strength. We continue to keep you, your son, and your other family members in our prayers. May God continue to bless each of you.
ReplyDeletePlease, tell Elder Schenk that we are with him!
