Trust in the Lord

Dear family and friends, We are so sorry for the missed blog last night. We have been dealing with many frustrations and felt much relief today when we finally got to visit with the Neuro Team. Many questions were answered about increased swelling and decreased vision. Britten is scheduled for surgery Friday morning to replace the missing skull with a plate. In his condition there are risks involved, but we know he is in The Lords Hands. Britt's therapy continues to improve as he enjoyed showing off mad ball passing skills to his Grandpa. They try to make therapy as fun as possible! We appreciate your prayers in Britten's behalf as he goes into surgery tomorrow. We put our entire trust in the Lord and know that all will be well. Steven & Karla

  3. We will be with you and praying for you as we have been since we heard about the accident. I suppose we'll be right next to you in the Huntsman Institute starting Monday for several days. We love you all so much and know our Heavenly Father is very aware of our dear Britten and will watch over him. Hope you guys are doing well also. You've been through a lot. Hugs and kisses.

  4. Britten- you are golden- you've got this! One time I was flying from Idaho to Utah and some pretty severe turbulence came up. I found out later we had flown over the top of tornadoes down below on the ground. I have anxiety, and was freaking out. All of a sudden, I felt a warm bubble of liquid gel envelope me, my heart stopped pounding, and I heard a voice say to me, "It's OK- I am here". I wasn't nervous again the entire flight. After that experience, I knew that I could do ANYTHING with the Holy Ghost as my companion. Lean on and trust in what you already know to be true. Keep shining superstar, for all of us out here are cheering you on!!!! Rachel Hill and Family

  5. I am praying for Britten; my son was also injured on his mission- emotionally in a way that takes much prayer and understanding. It will also take much time . But the Lord DOES hear prayers and answers them.
